Asbestos Worker, Refresher (102R)

Asbestos worker refresher for asbestos abatement workers includes a review of materials covered in the asbestos worker initial course and coverage of new developments in government regulations: state of the –art work practices and asbestos abatement industry standards.

This course is 8 hours and is approved by the state of Colorado and meets all the requirements of the EPA and AHERA (Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act).

This is an employer paid course.

Instructor Bio
Jorge Robles is a full time instructor at ATSC inc.  Mr Robles has been in the asbestos abatement industry for over 9 years.  He worked in the field as an abatement worker for 2 years when he was asked to take a supervisor position.  As a supervisor Mr. Robles managed jobs ranging from restoration and remodeling to large demolition jobs.   His experience in the field provides him with the knowledge to teach others about federal and local regulations in the abatement industry.  Mr. Robles is fluent in english and spanish.  This enables him to teach 80% of the abatement workers in the industry in spanish so they can completely understand in their native tongue.  In addition to his experience in the asbestos abatement field, Mr. Robles has 8 years of teaching experience in a classrrom enviroment.  Mr. Robles' experience, training and understanding of the regulations will make for an intensive and informative classroom experience at ATSC.
